The Ribeira Sacra is situated in the southern part of the river Sil from Castro Caldelas to Ourense.

It’s important for the monasteries place there. You can visit them, such as Montederramo’s monastery built in the sixteenth century in herreriano Style, Xunqueira’s monastery in Romanesque building, Santa Cristina’s monastery, and San Estevo’s monastery that nowadays It ‘s a state hotel.
The oldest is Esgos’ monastery dating from the sixth century.
Also you can visit Castro Caldelas’ castle.

You can walk for the wonderful landscapes along the river Sil, the tall mountains, and you can play different sports such as cycling, climbing, horse-ridding etc.

You can know different cultures or life styles. The people who live there work on the land. they eat their own farm animals. You can learn a lot of things about the countryside.

You must visit this place, It's impresionant!

I think that Ribeira Sacra is almost the most important tourist attraction in Ourense and South Lugo. It´s an extraordinary combination of nature and cultural tourism. We can enjoy it today but we must be careful to this appraised patrimony, then we will be able to enjoy it tomorrow. E.C.H.

I love the Ribeira Sacra and in my opinion your article is quite good. In addition, people must be more careful with this environment if they want to conserve it. Furthermore, I also think that this place will be very exploded and people could be tired of it.

In my opinion, the Ribeira Sacra is one of the natural spots more visited because the landscape is impressionant.
The place holds numerous attractions wich are waiting to be discovered: a lot of different and interesting monasteries, the precious landscape, the spectacular mountains situated along the river Sil...
In this spot you can enjoy the culture, the tranquility and all the people must care about its conservation.
Colour, calm, tranquility, beauty definitely peace is what people can enjoy here in a pleasant atmosphere.
I think that it´s worthwile to visit the Ribeira Sacra.
