Padrón is a village in the south of A Coruña, in Galicia. Here we can see esceneries like the hermitage of Santiaguiño de Monte, the viewpoint of Lapido where we can see the river Ulla, the Mount Meda and the urban park with exotic trees and plants.
The monuments which we can visit are the house-museum Rosalia de Castro, the museum of “arte sacro de la colegiata”, romanesque churchs of Herbón and Cruces and the barroque shrine of A Escravitude.
The typical gastronomy is the seafood, the fish and overcoat the peppers.these peppers are known because in the end of summer they are hot.
Moreover, every sunday Padrón makes crowded fairs.
This village is a quiet and small place except on sundays because there are too many people.
